• Hiring Area: Within a 50-mile radius of Davenport, IA.
• Lanes:
  • Covers IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, ND, SD, NE, WI.
  • Could cover any of the domiciles as needed.
  • Drivers may stay in a hotel if required.
  • Significant amount of driving in Chicago.
• Miles and Pay:
  • 1500 solo miles / 3000 team miles.
  • Averages 8 stops.
  • Solo Pay: $0.52 per mile.
  • Team Pay: $0.31 per mile.
  • Hourly Pay: $20.20 after 1-hour free time (split for teams).
  • Weekly minimum guaranteed: $1,200 for solo / $1,400 for team.
  • Average annual pay: $70,863.
  • Pay increases by $0.005 per mile every 6 months until top pay is reached.
• Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 1700 - 0030.
• Home Time:
  • Depends on the route, could be home daily/nightly.
  • Guaranteed weekend home time (Saturday night to Monday PM).
• Equipment Types:
  • 2014-2021 Peterbilt with Automatic Transmission.
  • Pre-Pass and EZ Pass.
  • 28'/48' Dry Van with lift gates.
  • Doubles endorsement routes require 28' van doubles.
• Freight Types:
  • Automotive parts (cages, totes, loose pieces).
• Truck Speed:
  • 65 MPH pedal and cruise.
• Bonuses:
  • Sign-on Bonus: $8,000 (paid in increments).
  • Referral Bonus: $3,000 (paid in increments).
• Accessorial Pay:
  • Stop Pay: $12.00 for solo, $14.00 for team split (excluding final stop).
  • Delay Pay: $18.54 per hour solo, $9.27 per hour team after 15 minutes of free time (not applicable if dealer caused delay).
• Parking:
  • Onsite in Davenport, IA (includes a break room with vending machines shared with drivers).
• Requirements:
  • 3 months of recent experience.
  • Double preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable maneuvering in downtown Chicago.
  • Ability to handle, position, and secure delivery roller cages and lift loose boxed parts (40-75 lbs).
• Other:
  • No pets or passengers allowed.
